Freedom Yoga is an empowering and expressive form of Yoga that allows you the time and space to explore your present self, achieving your mental and/or physical goal(s) through the practice of yoga. Our classes encourage you to 'find your form' as our qualified yoga teacher Steven guides you through an hour of practice every week, using proven and effective poses (or asanas) designed to release tension and relax the body whilst also encouraging overall balance and fitness to improve.
All experience levels and abilities welcome.

Ongoing bookings please select either of the other options depending on how you choose to pay. Following signing up for a class for the first time, you will be required to complete a short medical history form. You will only need to complete this form once.
Definitely! Freedom Yoga is suitable for all levels and abilities and you will always be welcomed into a friendly and encouraging class. As you progress through your yoga practice with Steven, you will notice your skill and confidence levels improve and there is always time before/after class for me to answer any question(s) you may have.
Upon entrance into the class, you'll be encouraged to set up your mat/practice space before we begin with a brief grounding exercise and warm up. Moving then into more fluid, dynamic poses we will work through every major muscle group before exploring a chain of 4-6 poses linked together in a 'main' phase of the class. As the class enters it's ending phase we will look to bring both the body and mind back down gradually to a relaxed state, using slower and gentler poses, ending with a guided relaxation.
Please bring a yoga mat with you. I am happy to provide yoga blocks- other equipment such as bolsters or straps is optional.
In terms of clothing, please wear whatever is comfortable that you would be able to exercise in. Yoga is usually practiced barefoot, or sometimes with yoga socks on.

Then, its just a case of turning up on the night and enjoying. And remember- your first Freedom Yoga class is free!
The type of yoga you will experience in a class of Freedom Yoga with Steven is based on Hatha yoga, one of the most well known and popular forms of yoga.
